We have also learned that the email spam goes a bit further and you may start receiving email spam from anyone on your domain that may have used their email address to shop online, do online banking or trade stocks, etc.

email address was evidently one that was compromised during the Epsilon hack. We just want to assure our customers that we do not send daily newsletters nor do we spam. If an email is sent to you from us then the Subject line will begin with [CPU Help]. Otherwise, you should delete it as spam.
