How to Clean your LCD Flat Screen or
Laptop/Notebook screen.
a) First of all, Turn the unit off and make sure that it stays off
for the duration of the cleaning.
b) Next, you will want to prepare a 50/50 mixture of Isopropyl Alcohol and
DISTILLED Water. It MUST be Distilled Water. If you don't have
Distilled water and don't want to go through the trouble of mixing the cleaning
mixture then you can also use Eyeglass cleaning solution.
c) Then take a micro-fiber cloth that you would use for cleaning
eyeglasses and spray the solution ON the CLOTH, NOT on the Screen itself.
Then wipe the screen until all foreign material has been removed. Repeat
as necessary until the screen is clean.
d) Wait about 5 minutes, then turn the screen or notebook computer back on
and the display will look much better.

In the wild currently active trojan:
wkssvc.exe is a process which is registered as the W32.Spybot.YXX Root Trojan. This Trojan allows attackers to access your computer from remote locations, this process is a security risk and should be removed from your system. VAR received it through instant messenger, looks like it is self-replicating to everyone on the IM address list.

Microsoft News:
When using certain programs on Windows Home Server there's a bug that corrupts data. December 21: Fortunately, this only happens with Windows Vista Photo Gallery, Windows Live Photo Gallery, OneNote 2007, OneNote 2003, Outlook 2007, Microsoft Money 2007...QuickBooks. Feb 21: Fortunately this only happens with the previous programs and maybe with these also: Photoshop Elements, Zune Software, iTunes, Thunderbird, Adobe Lightroom, Quicken, MS Digital Image Library, ACDSee, WinAmp...Windows Media Player 11, Excel, Visual DataFlex... PS: Note You may also experience this issue when you use other programs that are not listed here. Sometimes it's good to trail a little bit to let the bugs get fixed before bringing out a new product. We've had MS Home Server in testing for some time now, still debating on the actual hardware. This will slow down its release a bit.
5. More Microsoft News: With the Server 2008 release, many 2003 products are being dropped. Here's Microsoft's chart showing possible downgrades: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008/en/us/downgrade-rights.aspx

Something that should have been on TV-- Brawny (paper towels) sponsored Brawny Academy, kind of a take off of a reality TV show where guys were sent by their wives or girlfriends to be 'Brawny Men'. It was at www.brawnyacademy.com , but that site has been changed. See it now on youtube:

With some of what he says, the host had to bust as soon as the camera was off, on camera, he's totally deadpan. Found another site:

FYI -
Do you Still need to Uninstall
VISTA?
If you
upgrade to Vista from Windows XP, you may be finding it difficult to
revert back to XP. Be sure you have made the necessary backups before
upgrading to Vista or before attempting to downgrade your Windows Vista
installation to XP. You can try to downgrade without losing data via the
Microsoft Knowledge Base article at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/933168.
But the
best way is to use a fresh XP CD with a fresh license key. While you can try to
use a previous license of XP from that computer, it may not work, as there have
been issues with Vista rendering previous XP licenses useless after a Vista
upgrade. This makes sense, as Microsoft does not want you to sell the upgraded
XP after you are no longer using it. So be sure to get your hands on a boxed
copy of XP before attempting an upgrade.
