A Note About Today's Virus, Trojan, Malware and Grayware.

The anatomy of a virus attack.  A virus is a piece of programming code which, today, has progressed into a program application that users DO NOT want!  Unfortunately, the bug can install itself onto your computer anyway and usually without your knowing about it.  Viruses and Trojans work in the background of your Windows Operating System like other programs except these bugs perform malicious tasks.  Before a virus or trojan can be caught by an Anti-Virus software program it must first be identified, that is, someone’s computer must first be infected by it.  This is why, no matter how much anti virus software protection that you have, you could still get infected by a new virus or a new variant of an existing virus or trojan.  It often happens when you are not careful about the sites that you visit or the emails that you open or the pop-up ads that you might accidentally click on.  Once caught and identified, the Anti Virus software companies then reverse engineer the virus to determine its program signature and update their pattern files accordingly.  Then the users, like yourself, must update their Anti-Virus software to make sure they have the latest protection.  One more note, never ever let your Anti-Virus software license expire without renewing it.  Always be vigilant and protected.
